How often does a horrible jingle from the radio get stuck in your head, or worse, how many people do you know by their face but you can't remember their name? They say that you need to be seen at least 27 times before your business will be recognized. Repetition of a consistent message is important.

 

I first learned the power of a logo over coffee with Dana, from Liquidesign. We were discussing the concept of networking and she gave me the name of a website she had designed that might be helpful for a friend's new venture. I wrote it down so I could look it up at home and didn't think anymore of it. Later that night I decided to look up the site before passing along the info and the first thing to appear on my screen was the logo.

 

To my complete surprise, I knew this company well. In fact, I had bought numerous Christmas presents from them last year for members of my family... did I recognize the name? NO!
